107 rolling acres planted in premium Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Tempranillo grapes surround a stunning 4 bedroom, 7 bathroom Spanish-style estate. The entire property is comprised of 162 acres, of which 107 are planted with premium varietal red wine grapes with room to plant approximately 30 additional acres. The vineyard was planted between 1991 and 1997. The vines hang on a 3-wire vertical trellis system with lift wires. Rows are 11 feet apart; plants are 6 feet down the row and are pruned each year to yield approximately 6 tons per acre.  The vineyard is drip irrigated from a 300 gallon-per-minute well on the property. All grapes sold through 2017.

The grape varietals are described as follows:


  • Cabernet Sauvignon: 33.5 Acres
    • The Cabernet Sauvignon was all planted in 1991 on 5BB resistant root stock.  The Clone is Number 8. Block 10 was grafted in 2011 from Syrah to Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • Merlot: 45 Acres
    • The Merlot was planted during the following years: 1991, 1993, and 1995 on 5BB resistant root stock.  The Clone is Number 3.
  • Syrah: 8 Acres
    • The Syrah was planted in 1994 and 1997 on 5BB resistant root stock.  The Clone is Shenandoah.
  • Petite Sirah: 10 acres
    • The Petite Sirah was planted originally to Merlot in 1995 and grafted to Petite Sirah in 2007, Clone 3.
  • Tempranillo: 10.5 acres
    • The Tempranillo was planted originally to Merlot in 1995 and grafted to Tempranillo in 2007 (5 acres) and 2009 (5 acres), Clone 2


Vineyard Office, Shops & Foreman’s Home

  • Vineyard office was purchased in 1999 and is of modular design with 528 sq. ft. of office space.  It measures 12’ X 44’.  It is fully insulated and air conditioned.
  • The Shops were built in 1997 of “Butler Building” type construction and comprise 3,280 sq. ft. on an 82’ X 40’ concrete pad.  It also has a full bathroom with a shower, toilet, and wash basin.
  • Foreman’s home adjoins the shops and was built in 1998 of “Butler Building” type construction with 1,160 sq. ft. on a 29’ X 40’ concrete pad.  The home has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and central air conditioning.
